Art Center scholarship

für alle die es interessiert:

"Dear Bianca,

The Scholarship Committee of Art Center College of Design takes great pleasure in awarding you an Art Center Scholarship of $6000 starting with the Spring 2009 term. This award is contingent upon full completion of all required financial aid paperwork-- you should check with the Financial Aid Ofiice immediately to see what may be required.

This scholarship is granted to you because of the potential demonstrated in your portfolio and previous academic record. It also signifies our belief in your potential to suceed and excel here at Art Center.

All scholarship students are required to take the complete course towards a Bachelor's degree, including any necessary general education classes, and to attend full time, three semesters a year. You may petition for terms off during your training; however, under no circumstances may you take three consecutive terms off. Should this occur, you will automatically forfeit your scholarship award. In addition, awards will be prorated for Art Center Lite terms.

You are elligible to maintain your scholarship until you graduate from Art Center, provided your GPA, financial need, satisfactory progress, performance and conduct continue at your current level. Should your GPA fall below 3.00, you will be given one term on scholarship probation to bring it back to 3.00. If at the end of the probation period your CUM GPA is still below a 3.00, you must relinquish your scholarship.

Your financial need will be evaluated annually, as determined by the Financial Aid Office. It should be noted that your awars may be adjusted based upon your need.

Entering scholarships may not be deferred to a subsequent semester. If you defer your admissionn, you must reapply for your scholarship.

Please be aware that to thold your place in the entering class you must also submit your tuition deposit and contract to the Admissions office. Regardless of your scholarship award, places in the class are held by admissions on a first-come first-serve basis only.

A scholarship is the greatest expression of confidence in your future the college can give. It is also a scholastic honor of substantial significance. Congratulations on your award and best wishes for a successful career..."
